My Views On 8 Week Action Plan

8 week action plan is very useful for anybody starting without any knowledge of affiliate marketing. You will learn exactly what affiliate marketing is, how it works and how WA can help in that. For intermediate or advance affiliate user, it is very difficult to wait for 8 weeks. I won’t suggest 8 week action plan for intermediate or advance user. Of course, they will benefit from 8 week action plan. But advance tutorials are available for them also. They can use available tutorials from learning center.

Tutorials are divided in Junior, Intermediate and Senior category. Intermediate and senior people can use these tutorials to learn advance techniques and tips. Of course not all people are active in forum but there are many advance people sharing their knowledge. Tools I Use From WA

There are many tools available in WA as a member. But I have found only few of them to be useful. Some of them I am not using. I use Google Match Types, Competition Spy Tool and ClickBannk Research Tool. For keyword research I prefer WordTracker. The most useful tool is Clickbank Research Tool available at WA. I use it because that tool provides refund rate which is not available in clickbank in build tool. You have to calculate it yourself if you use clickbank in build tool. I use Competition Spy tool to find out the words which are useful for AdWords bidding. Using this tool you can easily find your competitors are bidding on which keywords.

Some Thing About Crap

Well, not totally crap but some features are crap for me. I never use WA Space, WA Jobs, WA Hosting and Site Rubix. I am not using WA space because I am not that much social and I didn’t find any benefit using it. For WA Jobs, if I want to out source any work, there are many other websites which provides good workers than I can get at WA. For web hosting, I use DreamHost but WA hosting can be useful if you don’t have hosting account anywhere else. Site Rubix is a tool to build website online. I prefer to build websites off line which give me more flexibility than I build it online. Site Rubix is useful for those people who don’t know HTML to build web site.

How Much Have I Earned After Joining WA ?

Finally you will definitely will be interested in knowing how much I have earned after joining WA. I joined WealthyAffiliate.com in mid January, 2008. It took me almost 4 months to get my first sale. I have earned $31.85 since the time of my joining. Yes! you have read it correct. Only $31.85 but still I am a member of wealthy affiliate university. Why? Simply because WA did not give any guarantee that I will become millionaire after joining it but what they guaranteed that they will provide all tools and support needed which they provided. I am happy that I have got my first sale with the help of WA and well this is my first step in affiliate marketing business. Developing a good business always takes a time. There are some members who got their first sale in just a week or month after joining WA but you might be like me and it can take time as long as 4 months to get first sale.

If you judiciously send your newsletter out, you get more and more traffic because folks come in to your website, read the latest articles and spread the word around. You also load a fresh copy of your newsletter in the SBI site so folks can search and find your newsletter page.

5. Respond to emails your readers write. Try to make it a point to solve problems and answer your readers emails. Trust me, if you build credibility this way, soon the word gets around and you will get more traffic.

6. Write more content everyday. Try to commit to write 2 articles a day. Don’t give up – writing consistently is the surest way to build traffic over time. Keep it up, don’t give up!

7. Don’t try to do small tricks. Ok, this is not exactly a way to build traffic. But it does indirectly focus your energy and time, so in way, you will do the correct things to build traffic. What I mean here is to avoid doing small tricks to get traffic. For example, posting answers on Yahoo Answers, posting stuff at WikiHow, setting up scam auctions to attract people to your eBay page containing your URL – stuff like that. These things, when added up, take up a tremendous amount of time. Instead, cut away all these time wasters and just write those 2 articles a day. Then distribute them to an article directory.

8. Set goals. It is very important to set goals in this Internet stuff. I used to plod away randomly day to day writing content. Now I know better. I set a goal of 50 fresh articles per month. What I do is set up folders everyday in my laptop (e.g. ‘20 May 2008, ‘21 May 2008′). I make sure that every one of those folders gets filled with 2 articles a day. That way, I will surely meet my goal each month. 50 articles a month = 600 articles a year – believe me, the traffic WILL come with that volume of content.

9. Choose a topic where you can write a lot of ‘how-to’. Here is something I learnt from experience. I know a lot of you choose SBI website topics based on your passion and interests. However, I’d like to add one more tip to guarantee greater success in building traffic. Choose a theme where you can write a LOT of ‘how-to’ articles. Why? Because ‘how-to’ articles build credibility. And they’re easy to write. For example, for one of my sites, I chose a topic on digital photography (heck of a lot of ‘how-to’ I can write there). On another site, I chose a topic on baby strollers (there is not much ‘how-to’ I could write there). Needless to say, I closed down the baby stroller website.

10. Faith and passion. I don’t mean to make this sound like spiritual advice, but having faith in your SBI site is very important in building traffic. Faith and passion is the fuel that will make you come back to write articles day in and day out. So keep that plenty of that fuel there inside you. One day, you WILL succeed.
